This is a vintage item. That means it has been used. Items are not new or perfect but very nice! Most vintage items show signs of use. Jan des BOUVRIE (Naarden 1942-08-03, 2020-10-04) studied at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam after high school. After completing this, he worked for some time in his parents' furniture store. Later he started working for himself. In addition, later in his career he presented the television program TV Woonmagazine. Des Bouvrie founded interior design store/design center Het Arsenaal in Naarden and Grave. The Grave branch closed in 2006.[1] Des Bouvrie also worked for several companies, including home appliance manufacturer Princess, furniture factory Gelderland, DIY store Gamma and website Webstijl. His designs for these include lighting, wallpaper, window decorations, outdoor furniture and awning products. Des Bouvrie is also active as a special professor at several design academies. There are also two education programs named after him; The Jan des Bouvrie College is part of the ROC in Amsterdam. The Jan des Bouvrie Academy, an HBO, is in Deventer and is part of Saxion Next, a private college for vocational education. This lamp is designed for a European electricity grid of 230 volts.
