For sale is an original Danish Holstebro lounge sofa and two lounge chairs in exhibition condition, which are almost indistinguishable from new! Please also check out our listings, where we offer the sofa individually and the armchairs as a set. ITEM: 1x Lounge Sofa, 3-Seater, 2x Lounge Chairs, Finish: Teak, New Wool; 1x Replacement Seat Cushion, 2x Armrest Cushions (Down) STYLE: Danish / Mid Century Modern / Scandinavian DESCRIPTION: The ensemble features a solid teak frame, consisting of two curved side elements with integrated runners and sculpturally crafted armrests, as well as a seating module. The seating module has a fitted seat frame with upholstery belt covering, covered with a protective stretch fabric with an additional foam insert. It is doweled and screwed to the side elements and is therefore removable. The comfortable, high-quality cold foam cushions are covered with a very robust premium new wool cover in the classic, coarsely woven salt & pepper pattern, removable with a zipper. The seams used are executed as elegant felled seams (with this seam, the individual cover pieces interlock like finger hooks and are then double-stitched. This seam is therefore considerably more robust, has significantly higher tensile strength, and is significantly more durable than conventional single/standard seams). The cushions are equipped with a classic drawstring bar and thus follow the contours of the back and seat, offering a particularly comfortable and ergonomic seating experience. The richness of the solid teak, the extremely elaborately produced side elements, the high-quality upholstery, and the overall quality of workmanship are testament to the exceptional value of this piece of furniture. The teak has a vibrant grain with a beautiful, visible wood structure. MANUFACTURER / DESIGNER: Holstebro Møbelfabrik A/S, Denmark; designed in the 1960s MATERIAL: - solid teak, oiled - new wool COLOR: - salt and pepper colored - teak (dark brown with a beautiful reddish tint and natural color nuances) Info: Some of the photos are overexposed so that the first-class condition is visible in detail! Reddish tones become redder and colors generally appear brighter. The shadow areas, or areas not directly illuminated by the photo light, best reflect the colors in real life. Shine in the photos, or grayish or milky areas, are also due to exposure or lighting (reflections). The surfaces have a satin matt to satin gloss finish. DIMENSIONS: Sofa: approx. width: 183 cm; depth: 80 cm; height: 82 cm; seat height: 45 cm; Seat depth 53cm Armchair: Width 73cm, otherwise like sofa CONDITION: As good as new! We received this ensemble in almost new condition. We performed a light teak restoration by carefully deep-cleaning the teak and re-oiling it with oils we developed ourselves. The result is beautiful teak characterized by a vibrant grain with a wonderful depth effect and a pleasantly warm feel. We always clean textile covers, even if they are free of stains or do not appear dirty. A careful special new wool cleaning refreshes the colors and gives the furniture a pleasant fragrance. Result: The ensemble is indistinguishable from new furniture, or if so, only barely! For example, there is no discernible difference from the new, still sealed replacement cushion! Here, too, you are welcome to search worldwide; you will not find it in better condition anywhere. We have looked at all the offers! This ensemble is perfect for a design enthusiast looking for new furniture and want to save a lot of money, or for someone looking for top-quality furniture at a fair price-performance ratio and not willing to compromise on condition. ________________________________________ FORMER NEW PRICE / LIST PRICE / COMPARISON PRICE: approx. 14,000 to 14,500 euros. This ensemble is currently produced in a slightly modified form by Dyrlund Denmark (Model 1210). The 3-seater sofa in solid teak and new wool costs approx. 6,000 to 6,500 euros today. Inexpensive non-EU transport via a general cargo forwarding company in a special wooden crate is also possible. !!! However, contacting us is mandatory before purchasing! TRANSPORT COSTS: e.g. Germany, approx. €249, depends on distance mileage e.g. Netherlands approx. €199, one-way trip directly to the buyer, depends on distance mileage (also possible on weekends!) !!! The transport costs stated under "Shipping is carried out by the seller" only apply to transport within Germany, excluding islands!!!
