Product description
The 1966 Richard Schultz garden chair with armrests, designed by Richard Schultz for Knoll International, is a high-end seat conceived for outdoor use. Now a classic of garden furniture, this chair was designed in the 1960s by Richard Schultz. It is part of the 1966 collection, created at the request of Florence Knoll, who wanted attractive garden furniture resistant to the salty air for her Florida home. This chair is now part of the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. The simplicity of its lines makes it a timeless chair, which also finds its place indoors, complemented by cushions. Its seat is angled to conform to the shape of the body and offer optimal comfort. It is supported by four legs that end in armrests. Its construction has been improved by incorporating more durable materials. The 1966 Richard Schultz garden chair with armrests measures 59 cm wide x 79 cm high x 61.5 cm deep, with a seat height of 45.5 cm and armrest height of 63.5 cm. It can be complemented by tables and chairs from the same collection.
