Oiva Toikka Kastehelmi bowl in turquoise - Vintage 1964, Nuutajärvi / Arabia, Finland
For sale is a beautifully shaped Kastehelmi bowl in the color turquoise, designed by the renowned Finnish designer Oiva Toikka in 1964 for Nuutajärvi, later part of the Arabia brand. The iconic "Kastehelmi" decor (Finnish for "dewdrop") is a classic of Scandinavian glass design and is characterized by its textured surface with relief-like glass drops.

Condition:
Very good used condition - no knocks or scratches. A small, production-related glass inclusion is present - typical of earlier glass production and not a defect, but an expression of craftsmanship.
