The Foscarini Orbital floor lamp, designed by Ferruccio Laviani in 1992, is an iconic lighting sculpture with five irregularly shaped, satin-finished, screen-printed glass diffusers in vibrant colors. Design & Concept: Designed in 1992 by Ferruccio Laviani for Foscarini, the multicolored version, when switched off, resembles a surrealist painting. Materials: A three-legged metal frame made of laser-painted steel supports the arrangement of hand-blown, frosted glass diffusers (red, yellow, blue, green, and cream).
