For sale: Diamond Chair, designed by the Italian-American sculptor Harry Bertoia and produced by the prestigious American company Knoll, vintage edition from the 1970s-80s. Comes with its original invoice.
Created in 1952, the Diamond Chair is much more than an armchair: it is a living sculpture, a masterful study of space, form, and metal, in the very words of its creator. Its wire frame in Rilsan white lacquered steel, entirely curved and hand-welded, creates an airy and geometric silhouette that transcends the functional object to achieve the status of a work of art. It is featured in the permanent collections of the world's leading design museums.
The original Knoll black leather seat cushion elegantly highlights the whiteness of the frame, creating a striking graphic contrast. Superb overall condition, with only minor signs of wear consistent with its age.
