Fantastic Barcelona Chair by Mies van der Rohe for Knoll International. The chair pictured dates from 1974 and has only had one previous owner. It is in a breathtakingly beautiful original condition with only slight signs of wear typical of its age, as you can see from the extensive product photos. The seating comfort is also very good. The Barcelona Chair has two removable foam seat cushions upholstered in cognac-colored leather. The frames are made of flat spring steel and have a high-gloss chrome finish. The armchair has a Knoll manufacturer's mark on the underside. It is ideal for prestigious lounges, lobbies, reception areas or as a stylish lounge chair in the living room. The Barcelona Chair was designed by Mies van der Rohe for the 1929 World Exhibition in Barcelona and has been produced by Knoll International since 1948. The chair is considered one of the most important designs of the 20th century. Dimensions: 75cm W x 77cm H x 77cm D, seat height: 43cm
