Authentic Royal Delft Blue Plates - De Porceleyne Fles - Stainless Steel Commemorative Insurance Plate. Collector's items: I am offering two Delft Blue plates (possibly for sale individually). The plates are from the original owner. Plate 1: Year 1967: Statue ZADKINE "Destroyed City" Rotterdam. Plate 2: Year 1954: Tower of the Laurenskerk in Rotterdam. The photos also show the back, as the plates are, of course, marked with a stainless steel logo sticker: Gentleman with umbrella | Lady and dog. The plates are collector's items and feature the iconic blue and white designs that have become synonymous with Dutch culture. Country: Netherlands Brand: Royal Delft 5 (De Porceleyne Fles in Delft). Items: Stainless steel blue and white commemorative plates (see further details above). Hand-painted. Dimensions: Diameter: approx. 22.5 cm Weight: 470g (Zadkine) | 312g (Laurenskerk) Material: earthenware Marked: yes, with Porceleyne Fles marks (see photos). Condition: intact, without cracks or chips. The Laurenskerk plate has very minor crazing on the top (hard to see), while the Zadkine plate has one small scratch. RVS stands for the Rotterdam Insurance Company and was later incorporated into N.N. Insurance (Nationale Nederlanden).
