Unique decorative art object in wabi-sabi and arte povera style. The heavy, weathered wood—charred, with rough, organic edges—bears a natural crack that was filled with cast lead. The lead follows the edges perfectly and has firmly anchored itself in the seams and pores of the wood. Two materials that have found each other.
The artwork stands beautifully on its own against a wall, or can be hung using the mounting wire on the back. Signed on the back: Colmant 98.
