Architect's Display Case/Bookcase "Architecte", Roche Bobois, Contemporary – France. Exquisite architect's display case or bookcase by the renowned French firm Roche Bobois. It combines elegance with functionality thanks to its sophisticated and refined design. Its wooden structure follows a vertical, rectangular shape divided into two connected modules. It opens through four doors, two in the lower module and two in the upper. Each door, like the sides, features partitions with large glass panels inserted to display the objects inside. The back features original wood paneling that gives the piece personality. An exclusive piece with refined finishes balanced between solidity and lightness, perfect for sophisticated and modern spaces. It features six decorative panels that suggest the type of objects that could occupy each space, referring to terms specific to the discipline (esquisses, plans, echantillons, colorations, dossiers, and archives). Roche Bobois is a French company that, since its founding in 1960, has been dedicated to the marketing of high-end furniture collections, sofas, and other accessories. The company was born from the union of Philippe and François Roche, owners of a boutique in Paris, and Jean-Claude and Patrick Chouchan, owners at that time of the Au Beau Bois store. After meeting in 1960 at the Copenhagen fair, they dedicated themselves to the manufacture and import of Scandinavian furniture to Paris. Thus, they began selling this furniture and other accessories such as textiles, tableware, and upholstery in their boutiques.
