This set of chairs was designed by German architect and designer Hartmut Lohmeyer for the renowned brand Wilkhahn, known for its high-quality and progressive furniture production. This model (A65) is a paragon of Scandinavian-inspired mid-century design, with a subtly curved frame, rounded armrests, and understated lines that exude tranquility and refinement. Crafted from solid teak with a warm, natural finish, the chairs feature dark gray upholstered seats and backrests. Their ergonomic shape and generous seating make them suitable for dining rooms, conference rooms, and lounge areas alike. The design is functionally and aesthetically balanced—a hallmark of Lohmeyer's work, characterized by architectural clarity and artisanal finesse.
All four chairs are in good vintage condition, and the teak frames are still beautiful, true craftsmanship. Unfortunately, the foam (under the upholstery) has largely deteriorated, so the chairs will need to be reupholstered for comfortable seating. The price has been adjusted accordingly. The price is for the set of 4.
