Product description
This set of two Wilkhahn Delta 2000 chairs, in a deep black leather, brushed aluminum, and with black shells, is in excellent condition. The leather of the chairs shows hardly any signs of wear, and the piping displays minimal patina. The swivel function can be fixed via a mechanism in the chrome base. The star-shaped feet made of brushed aluminum give the chairs a firm footing. A classic in the 1960s design that can be used as an office or dining room chair.
More than 100 years ago, the Wilkhahn company was founded by Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening as a chair factory. In 1946, contact was established with the Deutsche Werkstätten (German Workshops) and designers Georg Leowald and Herbert Hirche, who worked in the Bauhaus tradition. Since then, Wilkhahn has been one of the premium manufacturers of office furniture. The Delta 2000 model was designed by the Delta group in 1968.
