Product description
Vintage bar stools, retro from Bonn and an era in which, as the federal capital, it has hosted personalities from all over the world. The exact origin and who made it remains unknown. These four designer bar stools probably come from a casino, diner, nightclub or home bar.
I gave them the name "Barstool Set Adam and Eve" because the dominant caps of the columns are colored pink and light blue, which indicates men and women.
Never before have I seen anything similar or comparable in this regard. I can therefore imagine that these are unique pieces that have been individually designed and manufactured to order by a customer.
The diameter of the base plate of 38 cm and the solid iron plate in it offer enormous stability - wobbling is impossible!
The leather saddle seats probably have a metal plate at their core (I didn't take the leather off to check) because they are extremely stable and show no tendency to sag at all. The leather, which is almost 2 mm thick, is sewn together on both sides, including the underside of the seat, and is stable all around.
The column and the base plate are chrome-plated, the other three attachments are made of aluminium.
The four chairs are completely in order, the seams of the seats are absolutely tight.
They have the normal signs of wear and use. In some places, the chrome coating is no longer very shiny or is a bit rubbed off with light scratches. The screws, rivets and welds are perfect, a little oxidized in the joints. See photos. I can take more photos on request, including a mobile video.
The chairs each have a weight of approx. 14.3 kg
The seat height is approx. 81 cm
The height of the footrest increases from 36 to 38 cm

The pink and gray top caps of the pillars are made of polished plastic.
