Lot of 50 vintage Jaques model bar stools for May Design.
The Jacques series impresses as a bentwood chair and bar stool, with or without a backrest, in a timeless design inspired by the beloved vintage style of hospitality classics.
The stools are known for their innovative bentwood technique, in which wood is bent using steam and cast into various shapes. The curved backrest and the filigree arch joint under the seat emphasize the traditional craftsmanship of the series. The models are made of robust beech wood and upholstered in blue faux leather.
The bar stools have been used relatively little and are very neat, apart from some light marks.
