This set of two Lucellino wall lamps is an iconic design by the German lighting artist Ingo Maurer. The playful and poetic character of this design makes it a beloved piece in the history of modern lighting.
The lamps consist of a glass light source fitted with handmade wings made of goose feathers. The structure is supported by a flexible copper wire, allowing the position of the lamp to be adjusted as desired. The combination of white glass, brass fittings, and red and black wiring gives the whole a distinctive appearance.
The set is in good condition with an authentic character. The materials show a light patina consistent with the age and use of the lamps.
