Be captivated by the authenticity of this magnificent Scandinavian zebrano sideboard dating from the 1960s. This piece boasts the architectural lines typical of mid-century furniture. A unique mid-century design with rare wood species
This English sideboard stands out thanks to a bold combination of precious wood species. The fronts reveal the graphic and exotic grain of the zebrano veneer. The entire structure is crafted from sapele veneer with warm undertones. Thus, the details of its construction reflect a high-end positioning.
Every space has been designed to optimize your daily life. Let's take a closer look at the internal organization:
The side cabinets: On one side, two hinged doors open to reveal a removable central shelf. Furthermore, the top remains adjustable to three different heights. The edges of the doors feature silver metal handles.
The lower section: On the other side, a drop-down door is located beneath the central drawer. It is fitted with organically sculpted handles in solid rosewood. Moreover, it conceals a second removable and adjustable shelf. Attention to detail: A rosewood drawer with red felt lining
The highlight of this Scandinavian zebrano sideboard lies in its central section. Indeed, it houses a superb curved drawer in rosewood veneer. A thin metal strip delicately highlights its lower profile.
However, the real surprise is inside. This space has been completely restored by us. That's why it now boasts a vibrant red felt lining. Similarly, original wooden dividers help to compartmentalize your everyday accessories.

Handcrafted restoration: The sideboard was completely sanded. A high-quality oil was then applied. The wood is now nourished, protected, and silky smooth to the touch.
Vintage condition and authenticity
This piece has stood the test of time. Unlike a new item, it shows slight signs of age. This is evident on the left side of the sideboard. There is a thinner area of veneer due to previous heavy sanding. However, this imperfection was carefully concealed during our restoration. The piece remains sound, stable, and in excellent visual condition.
