Zhang Hui is a Chinese painter born in 1969.
She is a graduate of the well-known Sichuan Academy of True Arts.
This painting is one of the "Beijing Girls" series, young innocent girls searching for their identity in a corporate world. Depicted in a cartoonish manner.
Recurring features are the high forehead, the disproportionate body proportions, sleepy look, small nose, heart-shaped upper lip and wound on the forehead as the painter himself has.
The use of color with the light blue and red are also characteristic.
