A Zagar Floor light, designed by Sergio Carpani for the Italian manufacturer Stilnovo in the 1980s. This piece is a striking example of postmodern design, characterized by its sculptural form and architectural presence. The lamp is made of lacquered metal and plastic. The construction consists of a heavy, black metal base that guarantees stability, and a tall, slender column in an off-white color with a ribbed texture. The lamp head, made of contrasting beige plastic, houses the light source and bears the embossed brand name 'Stilnovo'. The lamp functions as an uplighter, projecting an indirect and atmospheric light upwards, and is equipped with a dimmer on the side.
