Product description
This armchair, designed by Yngve Ekström, embodies the calm, organic design language for which Scandinavian design is so highly regarded. The lines appear soft and flowing, almost as if they had emerged naturally from the material itself.
The grain of the oak is particularly beautiful. It runs vibrantly across the armrests and frame, further accentuated by the gently rounded shapes. The armrests immediately catch the eye, slightly flared outwards, pleasant to the touch, and with a surface that truly showcases the wood.
The construction appears light, almost floating, yet simultaneously stable. The gently reclined backrest and generous seat ensure a relaxed, reclined sitting position.
The dark upholstery provides a calm contrast and allows the warm wood to stand out even more. The fine rivets along the backrest subtly echo the design and add further texture to the armchair.
