A very large, heavy crystal bowl from France (1950s/60s). The bowl is handmade and likely originates from Art Vannes or Bayel. The bowl bears no maker's mark, but does have an original sticker from that period.
The bowl has a unique, organic shape. The wavy design with the long wings immediately brings to mind the elegant form of a stingray.
It is remarkable that the original silver "Entièrement Fait-Main" sticker is still perfectly intact after all these years. You almost never see this, as they are usually washed off. It proves that it has always been handled with care.
The bowl is in very good condition with virtually no signs of use.

The bowl can be picked up in the center of Rotterdam.
