His preferred theme is the distortion of the last four letters of the alphabet.
In these works, the letter serves as a pretext for exploring color and form.
His latest exhibition, "La fin de l'alphabet" (The End of the Alphabet), will be on display at the Celal Gallery in Paris at the end of June.
Wxyz is a French painter born in 1980 in eastern Paris, emerging from the graffiti movement. His favorite theme is the distortion of the last four letters of the alphabet. His artistic awakening stems from observing graffiti on walls from an early age. After working with the letter for twenty years, he is now developing an abstract visual universe that retains only the emblematic tool of his passion for the graffiti movement: the spray can. The artist's latest research focuses on the world of toys and the digital realm.
