For sale is a large collection of rare WMF serving and cutlery pieces from the legendary Bauhaus Series 2500. Perfect for collectors who want to expand their existing dinnerware set with matching serving and specialty pieces!
The pieces bear the original WMF hallmarks, including the traditional gram weights for the high-quality silver plating:
[45] on the dinner forks and the three large tablespoons (special series with extra-thick silver plating)
[30] on the single, slightly smaller dessert spoon
[18] on the cake forks and coffee spoons
The exact piece or set hallmarks on the serving pieces are: [4] on the large serving spoon, [3] on the large soup ladle, [2.5] on the sauce ladle, [24] on the carving set, [1.5] each on the cake server, sugar spoon, cheese knife, and butter knife, [1] on the sugar tongs. The historical fraction markings [1 1/4] (1.25g) are on the butter peel and the large carving forks, and [9] in a rectangle (set hallmark) is on the small carving forks.
