For sale here is the rare vase trio Mod. 468. It was designed around 1950 by Wilhelm Wagenfeld for WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, Geislingen). Triple construction in light tourmaline-tinted transparent glass. The three vases are compatible with each other.
Dimensions: Height up to approx. 20 cm, diameter up to approx. 9.5 cm.
Wilhelm Wagenfeld was initially a student at the Bauhaus in Weimar under László Moholy-Nagy and created some of the most famous Bauhaus objects during this time. In 1928, he became head of the metal workshop, and from 1931 onward, he worked as a freelance designer for the Jena Glassworks and the United Lausitz Glassworks.
Condition commensurate with age, with slight signs of age and use (scratches, abrasions, some minor residue; the beaker vase has a minimal chip on the outer edge of the wall). Please also refer to the photos for the condition. These are part of the item description.
