Product description
A classic wall clock from Weimar Electronic marked "Made in GDR"—produced in the German Democratic Republic (GDR) in the 1970s. A distinctive example of East German utilitarian design from the era, prized by vintage collectors and lovers of Mid-Century Modern style.
Material: Square white plastic case, white dial with black Arabic numerals. Black hour and minute hands, red seconds hand—a contrast typical of clocks of this era. Battery-powered electronic quartz movement. Protective glass made of transparent plastic or glass.
Appearance: The clock has a minimalist, square design with a round dial. The white, easy-to-read dial features clear, large black Arabic numerals and a minute scale. Below the number 12 is the inscription "WEIMAR electronic," and at the bottom of the dial is the inscription "MADE IN GDR." The gold-plated center of the hands adds an elegant touch. Simple, functional aesthetics typical of GDR utility design.
