I hereby offer a beautiful Gunnel Sahlin art glass design piece, designed for Kosta Boda.
Gunnel Sahlin (1954) is one of the most influential Swedish glass designers who left her mark on Kosta Boda's collections for almost 20 years (until 2005). She is known for her bold use of color and organic forms, which are often inspired by nature and the plant world.
This bowl belongs to the artist-love collection and is marked on the underside with: Kosta Boda artist collect. G. Sahlin 79261 (the green heart that is also being auctioned has a subsequent number: it appears that the 2 hearts belong together as art glass objects.
Since their introduction in the 1980s, the pieces by this glass designer have been a worldwide favorite among collectors.
