Product description
An original Walter Bosse black cast bronze cat corkscrew, Germany, late 1950s. This vintage cat was produced in Germany and comes from Bosse's later period. It's highly characterful and has been modeled in Bosse's signature style. With its expressive face and out-stretched paw, the feline makes a fantastic figurine, but is also a handy object to have around the house; the head removes to reveal a corkscrew. Hand finished to a golden sheen with black patina; this style became known as the “Black Golden Line.” Quirky little modernist animal sculpture.
