This wall lamp designed by Sigvard Bernadotte is in very good condition. (Prince Sigvard Bernadotte was the son of King Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden. He is still a well-known designer in Sweden, known as the ‘Design Princes’). He designed a large number of items, many of which are now in museum collections.
This lamp – Ifö electric AB, model 6060 – was produced in multiple colors at the time, and even with transparent glass. The example offered here features a green-brown glaze and two white opaline glass lampshades.
Originally intended for lighting above a bathroom mirror, but now also popular in other rooms – mounted both horizontally and vertically.
It is equipped with two E14 sockets and comes with two matching LED candles.
