Product description
A true piece of Dutch interior design history! This charming, dark oak wall mirror once hung in countless hallways, allowing you to brush off your coat and check your appearance before leaving the house.
Dimensions: 35 × 26 × 2 cm (perfect size for a hallway, entryway, or restroom)
Original mirror glass with a beautiful warm patina and minor stains (authentic, not a modern reproduction!)
Brass/copper plaque with the famous saying:
"Always be neat about your clothes – a bird is known by its feathers"
Two original horsehair clothes brushes are still present:
an elegant black brush with a twisted handle and hanging ring, and a natural varnished brush with a curved handle.
Dark-stained oak with an ornately carved "roof" on top.
Back neat, ready to hang immediately.
Condition: very good for its age, completely original and working. No cracks or restorations, just the beautiful patina of almost 80-100 years of daily use.
