Product description
Magnificent antique oval mirror with a carved and gilded wooden frame, richly decorated with embossed motifs.
The frame is made of carved wood with a gilded finish, a decorative embossed frieze all around, and a pediment adorned with a knot and scrolls, giving it a classic elegance inspired by the Louis XVI/Rococo style.
A red felt pad has been added to the back, along with a small ring for hanging the mirror on a wall.
It is in good overall condition. The frame has a beautiful patina that adds to its charm, with some signs of age (see photos), as does the glass.
