For sale: beautiful large vintage wall mirror from the 1930s (Art Deco / organic design).
Dimensions: approx. 192 cm wide x 52 cm high
Material: warm walnut wood frame with hand-carved organic/wavy shapes and beautifully detailed corners (floral motif).
Original mirror glass, no cracks or major damage to the glass itself – but minor signs of age (small dark spots/edges, normal for its age).
Condition: good vintage – the frame has character with an authentic patina. There are a few minor signs of wear:
A few small cracks/splits in the wood at the top and bottom of the frame (see photos, approx. 3–5 cm long, superficial, not broken through).
Light scratches and imperfections in the wood (typical for a piece over 90 years old).
Very solidly built, heavy (approx. 15–20 kg), so not a cheap modern reproduction. This is a true vintage mirror with plenty of character – perfect as a statement piece above a sideboard, buffet, console table, or in a hallway.
It fits beautifully in retro, industrial, or classic interiors.
