The Philips Infraphil 7529 is an iconic heat lamp designed by Charlotte Perriand in the 1950s. This specific model combines a functional medical design with the distinctive aesthetic of post-war modernism, characterized by the striking red anodized aluminum ring and the cream-colored housing.
The lamp is crafted from metal and aluminum, featuring an original red heat bulb that emits a deep, therapeutic glow. The construction allows the lamp to be tilted within the red ring, enabling the heat radiation to be directed. The design was produced in the Netherlands, as confirmed by the original Philips label on the base. The lamp is equipped with the original wiring and plug.
This particular unit is in good vintage condition, retaining its original character and patina. Over the past 75 years, this lamp has acquired a single small dent and some scratches.
