"Xantippe" witch's hat pendant lamp (also known as the Verona), designed by Ad van Berlo for the Dutch manufacturer Vrieland Design. Design features Color: Black. Design period: Mid-1980s (circa 1985–1987). Award: This specific postmodern model won the prestigious iF Design Award in 1987. Design: Characterized by the flowing, organic trumpet or witch's hat shape made of aluminum. The ribbed, conical rubber top piece visually blends seamlessly into the power cable.
