The Vitsœ 606 Universal Shelving System, designed by Dieter Rams, is one of the most timeless and well-thought-out wall units in modern design history. The strength of the system lies in its simplicity: a sleek, modular design that you can expand, adapt, and rearrange entirely to your liking — and which has been cherished for decades by designers, collectors, and minimalist interior enthusiasts.
The individual components we offer are ideal for those wishing to expand an existing setup, find a missing element, or create a new configuration using original components. We have various modules available, such as cabinets, (double) shelves in white and black, and individual E-profiles: every component is designed according to Rams’ famous “less is more” philosophy and fits seamlessly within the modular whole.
As is typical for vintage Vitsœ parts, the items show signs of wear appropriate for their age, such as scratches and small dents. This varies by component and contributes to their authenticity and character. See below for the list of available parts and any additional information. The e-profiles are initially only for sale with the modules.
