The Vitra Eames DAW (Dining Height Armchair Wood Base) is an iconic design by Charles and Ray Eames, produced by Vitra. This specific version is distinguished by its full upholstery, which adds an extra layer of comfort and texture to the classic shell chair. The chair is crafted with a synthetic shell that is fully lined on the inside with a green woven fabric, finished with contrasting white piping. The outside of the shell is finished in a solid green color. The base consists of wooden legs connected by the characteristic black metal wire cross. The chair was produced in Germany in 2015 and features the original Vitra labels and inscriptions on the underside. The chair is in very good condition and shows minimal signs of use. The upholstery is intact and the construction is sturdy, attesting to the durable quality for which Vitra is known. This Eames DAW fits perfectly into a modern or Scandinavian interior. It functions perfectly as a comfortable dining chair, but also comes into its own as a standalone occasional chair in a living room or home office. The chair is in good condition.
