An eye-catcher that can serve multiple functions on a balcony or terrace: a wine cooler with ice, a planter for herbs and plants, or a decorative object.
The bowl is handcrafted — the seam in the zinc reveals that this is not a factory product. The rim is folded and rounded, and the base has a protruding lip that provides stability to the bowl. Stamped points are visible on the bottom, presumably repairs or reinforcements from use. The color is the typical blue-gray of oxidized zinc, with a beautiful patina developed through age and use.
The bowl is watertight and ready for immediate use.
Dating: presumably first half of the twentieth century.

Good used condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use, including a slight dent on the side and a black mark on the inside, as visible in the photos.
