Eighteenth century Biedermeier shutter desk, made in the 1790s in Austria, RestoredThe desk has been repolished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional restoration team in the Czech Republic, using the original process.The desk has seven large drawers in the bottom frame and six smaller drawers on top. It also has a flap to close the desk when not in use. Sold individuallyThis item features classic elements of the Biedermeier style. This style is characterized by visual simplicity, light woods and contrasting inlays. Casual is the name of the game. Although the original Biedermeier pieces are over 200 years old, the furniture from this movement is still fresh and modern.
