A beautifull vintage Wassily chair designed by Marcel Breuer and produced by Fasem in Italy, circa 1980s.
The chair features the iconic Bauhaus silhouette with a polished tubular chrome frame and black leather sling construction. The design remains one of the most recognizable expressions of modernist furniture: architectural, light, sculptural and timeless.
The black leather is in very good condition with minor scratches overall in very good condition.The stitching, leather straps and chrome frame give the chairs a strong, authentic presence. Both chairs are stamped Fasem – Italy, confirming the Italian production.
A powerful object works beautifully in a modern interior, gallery setting, office, loft or collector’s space.
