The iconic Wassily armchair, also known as the B3 chair, was designed in 1925 by Marcel Breuer and is considered a milestone in Bauhaus design. Inspired by bicycle handlebars and with an innovative use of bent steel tubing, Breuer developed this chair at the age of just 25 during his time as a master craftsman at the Bauhaus in Weimar. The chair is made of high-quality chrome-plated steel tubing and is upholstered in durable leather, used for the seat, backrest, and armrests. The Wassily chair is an excellent example of the clear and functional design of the Bauhaus movement and is a worldwide collector's item.
This is the vintage version, marked with a sticker (no longer available).
Both chairs are in excellent condition. Sold individually (in stock: 2).
