Vintage Wassily B3 Chair by Marcel Breuer for Bononia / Gavina, Italy
An original vintage version of the iconic Wassily B3, designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925 and produced in Italy by Bononia/Gavina.
The design consists of a chrome-plated steel tubular frame with dark brown leather straps. The open construction, clean lines, and floating seat make the Wassily one of the most recognizable designs of the Bauhaus period.
This particular piece is in beautiful vintage condition. The leather has a warm dark brown color with a natural patina, slight discoloration, and signs of wear consistent with its age. Local wear is visible along some edges and attachment points. The chrome frame is neat and retains its bright appearance.
A characterful and authentic version of an important 20th-century design icon.
