Product description
Vintage modular teak wall cabinet from the 1960s with teak back panels and beautiful overhead lighting integrated into the upper sections across the entire width. It consists of black metal rails/rods between which the panels are placed. The panel drill holes are covered with attractive brass caps. Black metal supports fit and slide into these at the desired height and are screwed to the wood at the bottom. Comes with extra "filler pieces" because there was a door on the left side. Above this, there is also a piece of teak wall panel for finishing. Plus 2 extra filler pieces on this left side and one filler piece on the far right. These can be shortened or made to measure depending on the situation. The bottom plinth consists of 2 pieces and covers the bottom edge. 3 panels h 245 cm x 80/80/75 + panel above the door w 104 x 54, high-fit pieces such as skirting board/ left 2x/ slat right 1x slat, 4 rails/rods for mounting against the wall + extra piece for above the doorway, 4 shelves 80 x 26, 1 shelf 105 x 26, 1 shelf 75 x 26, 4 shelves with indirect lighting (80/80/75/105 x 26d), 1 secretary desk with red inlay 80 x 26 x 49h, 1 glass teak element with shelf 80 x 26 x 49h, 1 teak element with shelf 80 x 26 x 49h, 2 teak elements 80 x 26 x 37h, Corner table with 2 panels (consisting of 2 levels) and black metal brass elements. The set is in good condition with light signs of use commensurate with age. Photos are part of the description, so please look closely at the layout and mounting materials. Attached is a photo showing the 3 largest sections mounted; the table on the right is not shown here, nor is the door side with the transom. As you can see, slight discoloration has occurred in the layout due to the sun, and the cabinet modules are secured from the inside with 2 screws each; therefore, some small screw holes are provided to hold them in place. These are missing but can be nicely replaced with brass screws in keeping with the style. A square artwork hung on the far right; here too, there is a color difference plus a small hole. There are 4 transoms integrated into the wood; only the one on the far right above the doorway does not have a light fixture in the wooden section. The bulbs have not been tested but left in place to demonstrate the possibilities. The secretary desk with a red surface needs some fluorescent lighting near the red wooden parts next to the hinges; leave as is or replace. 3 keys are included, allowing all cabinets to open and close. Mounting materials such as plugs and screws shown on the outside in the photos are not present.
