Swedish design classic -
the ladder shelf 🇸🇪
Swedish architect Nisse Strinning designed this modular wall system in 1949 for a public library design competition. A few years later, he put the design into production at his company, String Design AB.
It is a beautiful, airy, and playful design thanks to the open shelves made of white plastic-coated wire metal.
The system is anchored to the wall.
In authentic vintage condition with signs of use, discoloration, and wear appropriate for its age.
