Product description
The first image shows the shelving unit (as it hung on the wall for years) before disassembly. You will receive all the parts shown. The unit is modular and can, of course, be assembled in completely different configurations.
Vintage Design
This highly elegant teak wall shelving system was designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by FM Møbler in Denmark during the 1960s.
The set is an outstanding example of masterful Danish craftsmanship from the mid-century era, evident in the impressive teak veneer and solid wood details. It adds a touch of mid-century elegance to any living room or bedroom. Thanks to its compact design, the set—comprising a floating desk, a shelf with integrated lighting, and a console—is ideal for creating a home office area. The vintage wall system is fully modular; the height of all elements is adjustable, and they can be rearranged as needed. Installation is simple: metal brackets attached to the back of the shelves and cabinets hook directly into the wall rails.
Complete 22-piece set
The wall system consists of:
6 cabinets, all featuring sliding elements and internal dividers; each 85 cm wide:
- 1 x cabinet with drop-down door, height 36 cm
- 1 x bar cabinet with drop-down door, height 36 cm
- 2 x cabinets with sliding doors, height 36 cm
- 2 x cabinets with sliding doors, height 50 cm
11 shelves, each 85 cm wide:
- 1 x display shelf (depth 32 cm) with a candle burn mark on the underside
- 5 shelves (depth 24 cm), one of which has a candle burn mark on the underside
- 3 shelves (depth 32 cm) with reinforcing supports
- 5 metal rails (each 225 cm long).
The shelving system is in its original condition. It shows slight scratches and signs of use.
