Welcome to Les Merciers.
We are privileged to present a true icon of 20th-century Italian design: the spectacular "Taraxacum" pendant light. A sculptural and incredibly rare piece, designed in the 1960s by the legendary brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and produced by Flos.
Sculptural and innovative design
This pendant light perfectly illustrates the avant-garde aesthetic of the era. Its surface is created using a fascinating technique: a special synthetic resin (the "cocoon") is sprayed onto a sinuous metal structure before solidifying, creating a superb matte and velvety texture. The dynamic design of the interwoven internal structure makes this piece visually captivating, even when switched off. Once lit, the resin diffuses a soft, warm, and extraordinarily inviting light. An absolute centerpiece for an elegant, minimalist, or cutting-edge interior.
