Princeton" desk and armchair set in ebony-tone sycamore, attributed to Hugues Chevalier, creator of luxury designer furniture since 1978.Its thick top, with raised edges, conceals a sliding shelf under each side.This piece of furniture opens with four drawers, including a central one and three superimposed lateral ones with asymmetrical fronts. Mounted on metal runners, they are pulled out by curved chrome knobs.The left-hand pedestal features, on both the front and back, two pull-out shelves separated in the center by a vertical locker.The footrest is tubular and chrome-plated.The whole unit rests on a wide, highly-molded base.The armchair, also in sycamore, features a round seat and arched backrest upholstered in almond leather in perfect condition.
