A rare 1942 vintage "Model 36" Pernilla chaise longue by Swedish designer Bruno Mathsson for Firma Karl Mathsson.
It bears the original maker stickers to the underside, indicating the 1942 date of manufacture, along with Mathsson's hand-written monogram.
With original headrest cushion in raspberry-coloured wool, it is in excellent vintage condition.
It is as comfortable as the day it was made, retaining the grace and patina of a museum-quality original. We have added an optional long sheepskin throw for extra comfort.
