A graceful 1950s side table, a Mid-Century Italian design.
This piece, made in Italy, serves as both a side table/end table with its glass top and a magazine rack.
- Its design is in the style of Cesare Lacca.
- The metal frame is made of solid brass, unlike the common hollow-tube models. Its weight is therefore reassuring and offers excellent stability. It is in very good condition.
- The glass top is 30.5 cm in diameter and 5 mm thick.
- The piece still has its original small sticker indicating "Made in Italy" (although it is worn with age).
- Please note: The brass around the original label has not been cleaned of oxidation. This is to prevent the label from peeling off. See the photo.
I can clean the brass before shipping if you wish.
-Visible in one of the close-up photos, there's a small dent that could be from a very old impact or a design flaw.
The item will be carefully packaged for shipping. The saddle can be shipped assembled or completely disassembled, with detailed reassembly instructions that require only a flathead screwdriver.
I can personally deliver it to Rennes and the surrounding area, or to Paris/the Paris region (on specific dates).
