Product description
Mid-century, vintage, signed, framed, pencil sketches / illustrations / fashion design drawing on paper, by French fashion artist, Berthe Duquaine, in 1951.
Piece features a very sleek fashion design done in pencil, of three, female silhouettes, typical of the epoch. Piece is signed (see photo.) On the back of the drawing, it is titled "Silhouettes Types", and dated "Le 28 Novembre 1951" (see photo.)
This piece is in overall very good, original and vintage condition, as it has been well-preserved over the years. Very light signs of age commensurate with time, on the paper. No tears or rips (see photos.) It is surrounded by a black matte, with white, chamfered edging, behind clean glass inside the frame, which has no cracks or chips (see photos.)
The brushed metal (aluminum) frame, has some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the front, sides, edges and back, that only adds to its charm (see photos.) At the back of the frame at the top, there is a hook, so it can be easily mounted onto a wall (see photo.)
All photos taken in natural, indoor light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, reflections, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
