Auxiliary Furniture / Console Midcentury 80’s - Italy
Exquisite and refined small Midcentury style furniture made in the 1980s. Simple structure in varnished and lacquered wood. It has a half-moon profile and two different parts: the upper storage space and the lower shelf. The upper part, inside, has a shelf also following the profile of a half sphere, covered with wooden curtains, widely used in Italian furniture. This auxiliary furniture is extremely versatile thanks to its compact size. It can be used as a bar cabinet for drinks, a true style statement. In the lower area it has wheels for easy handling. Italian designers used new industrial technologies, combining functionality with simplicity, to create everything from buildings to furniture to various household objects, many of which have become iconic designs.
