Vintage Set For The Chinese Tea Ceremony. This tea set is a beautiful example of traditional Chinese pottery, executed in a refined, light blue celadon-like shade. The set is decorated with a detailed scene in reddish-brown tones, depicting antique chariots and horsemen. This is a classic theme in Chinese art that often refers to historical stories or legends. In addition to the images, fine Chinese calligraphy is incorporated into the pottery, contributing to the authentic and historical appearance of the crockery. The design of the teapot and cups is elegant and functional. The teapot has a distinctive spout and a matching lid that repeats the chariot motif. On the underside of the teapot and cups, there is a blue stamped mark within a square frame, indicating an artisanal origin. The set is presented in a luxury box, lined with blue silk with an interwoven dragon and floral motif and a bright yellow, padded interior. This packaging method is typical of high-quality Chinese crockery, often intended as a gift or as a valuable collector's item.
