A beautifully proportioned pair of vintage Senator armchairs by Ole Wanscher for Cado, made in Denmark. These chairs are a strong example of Wanscher’s refined Danish modern language: elegant solid teak frames, softly tapered lines, and a light architectural silhouette that feels both disciplined and inviting. The original Cado badge visible in the frame adds a valuable layer of authenticity.
What makes the Senator series so enduring is its restraint. Wanscher was known for translating classical furniture proportions into modern daily living, and that is exactly what these chairs do so well.
